2) Company Name/Industry

3) How long have you been in the HR field?
While my official role isn’t traditionally "HR," I have been deeply engaged in the people and culture side of business leadership for over 17 years fostering team development, guiding career growth, and building strong, collaborative cultures within the architecture industry.
4) What inspired you to pursue a career in HR?
I wouldn’t say I pursued a career in HR, rather, I grew into it by necessity and passion. I’ve always been fascinated by how teams work, how people grow, and how organizations can create an environment where both thrive. Through my leadership journey, I’ve found myself drawn to the people side of business building relationships, helping individuals find their best path, and creating processes that empower teams. It’s a natural extension of my background in architecture: both are about designing solutions, solving problems, and building for the future.
5) How has being a member of EIHRA impacted your career?
EIHRA has been a valuable resource in expanding my understanding of HR practices, keeping me connected to a broader community of professionals, and providing insights that help me support our team at Emergent. It’s a reminder that we’re never done learning, and that even in industries like architecture, the principles of human resources and leadership are foundational to success.
6) What’s a hobby/interest you enjoy outside of work?
I love being outside golfing, traveling with my family, or taking on DIY projects around the house.
7) If you weren’t in HR, what would be your dream job?
Honestly, I’m already in my dream job. But if I had to pick something different, I’d probably be a leadership coach, helping other professionals unlock their potential. Or maybe I’d be running a design-build business, there’s something about taking a project from idea to reality that I’ve always found deeply rewarding.
